Travel within NSW
You do not need to register your travel within NSW but you must follow the COVID-19 travel restrictions.
Entry to NSW is restricted when a NSW Health concerns notice identifies interstate hotspots, affected areas and places of concern.
If you are planning to enter NSW or you have already arrived
- follow the instructions for the states or territories that you have been to in the previous 14 days
- check the NSW COVID-19 rules for interstate travellers.
For travel to and from other states and territories, check the latest information on COVID-19 restrictions and requirements for travel to and from NSW.
If you are arriving in NSW from overseas, you may need to quarantine depending on whether you:
- meet the requirements for travel to NSW
- are fully vaccinated with a TGA recognised COVID-19 vaccine.
