Nelson Bay Service Centre officially open
Close to 40,000 transactions have been completed at the Nelson Bay Service NSW Centre since doors opened at the Centre a year ago.
Parliamentary Secretary for Finance, Services and Property Alister Henskens said the new centre was is continuing to impress, scoring a satisfaction score of 99 per cent since doors opened 25 November last year.
“Service NSW has redefined the way that customers access government services and transactions and has made it easier to access services at a time and place that suits you best,” Mr Henskens said.
"At Nelsons Bay, customers can now access more than 1000 services and transactions from agencies including Roads and Maritime Services, Births Deaths and Marriages, Fair Trading and more in the one location.
“I’d like to congratulate Manager Kristy Riley and the team on the amazing work they have done in providing the local community with a friendly and professional service.”
Mr Henskens encouraged customers to complete their transactions before the busy holiday period.
"Summer is always a hectic time of the year and the last thing you want is to be hampered by an expired licence or registration,” he said.
“Driver licences can be renewed up to six months before they expire, meanwhile customers can renew their vehicle registration three months prior to it expiring.
“There are hundreds of services and transactions, including licence or vehicle renewal, that can be completed 24 hours seven days per week digitally via the Service NSW website or mobile app.
The Nelson Bay Service Centre, located at 30 Yacaaba Street, Nelson Bay, is open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
