One-stop shops a win for Northern NSW
Murwillumbah residents now have access to hundreds of Government services and transactions under the one-roof with the opening of a Service NSW Centre at Shop 3, 289-291, Tweed Valley Way, Murwillumbah.
Minister for Finance, Services and Property Victor Dominello joined Member for Lismore Thomas George for the official opening today.
“Service NSW continues to deliver excellence in customer service with satisfaction rates consistently above 97 per cent. It’s fantastic that the people of Murwillumbah will now have access to the full Service NSW experience,” Mr Dominello said.
Mr George said the new Centre would help to improve access to services in the local community.
“Service NSW offers much more than just motor registry services – customers can also access a range of services from NSW Fair Trading, Births Deaths and Marriages, Transport for NSW, Family and Community Services and many more,” Mr George said.
“The new Service Centre is already proving to be a popular addition for the local community, having served more than 7,500 customers since doors opened in October last year with a satisfaction rating of 98 percent, which is impressive for a brand new store in a brand new location.”
The new one-stop shop is open for business from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
Mr Dominello and Mr George also joined Parliamentary Secretary Ben Franklin on a visit to meet staff at the Ballina Service Centre that opened in August 2016.
“The team at Ballina are friendly and professional with concierge staff on hand to greet customers when they walk into the centre, ready to help complete their transactions,” Mr Franklin said.
