NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Minister for Finance, Services and Property, Victor Dominello today joined the Member for Upper Hunter Michael Johnsen, to inspect the Singleton Service NSW Centre.
“Service NSW allows customers to easily access more than 970 services and transactions from NSW Government agencies, including Roads and Maritime Services, NSW Fair Trading, Family and Community Services and many more,” Ms Berejiklian said.
“Residents and businesses are able to access transactions ranging from driver licence, registration and driver testing, to birth or marriage certificates, all under the one roof.”
Minister Dominello congratulated Singleton’s Service NSW centre, which is continuing to impress with a customer satisfaction score of 99% in its first year of trade since opening 11 May 2016.
“I’d like to commend Service Centre Manager Paul Smith and the Singleton team on the valuable contribution they’ve already made in the last year.
“I know Paul and his team will continue to provide excellent service for customers in Singleton.”
Mr Johnsen said the Singleton one-stop shop would complement existing nearby Service Centres at Maitland, Newcastle, Wallsend and Warners Bay.
“Through Service NSW, we’re making it easier to access government services in the Hunter and Central Coast region,” Mr Johnsen said.
“Service NSW Centres have been designed to make it easier for customers to interact and access government services, with more than 40,000 people visiting the one stop shop since opening.
The Singleton Service Centre is located at 158 John Street, Singleton, open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm.
