Greater Sydney Commission

The Greater Sydney Commission was established by an Act of Parliament with specific roles and responsibilities for planning for Greater Sydney, including coordinating and aligning the strategic and metropolitan planning that will shape the region's future.

The Commission's focus on thought leadership, strategic planning and accelerating delivery of key precincts is helping to create good jobs closer to where people live, and opportunities to attract world-class industry, as well as making Greater Sydney a more productive, liveable and sustainable city for all.
