Insurance for NSW

Insurance for NSW is part of icare . It manages several government funds and statutory insurance schemes, which collectively support and protect the NSW public service in the course of their operations, including:

• Treasury Managed Fund (TMF)
• Construction Risk Insurance Fund 
• Home Building Compensation Fund
• Pre-Managed Fund Reserve (PMF)
• Governmental Workers Compensation Account (GWC)
• Transport Accidents Compensation Fund (TAC)
• Residual Workers Compensation Liabilities of the Crown (SRA/RIC)

The main scheme is the Treasury Management Fund which provides workers compensation insurance for over workers and volunteers across the state. It also protects the state's assets, including the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, critical infrastructure like schools and hospitals, and the services provided by the government to the communities of NSW.
