How to make a report
You can report a damaged, incorrect, missing or unnecessary parking sign to Transport for NSW via:
Transport for NSW will send the report to the responsible authority.
You can submit an anonymous report or provide your contact details if you'd like a response.
What you need
You may need to provide information such as:
- the location of the parking sign
- details of the problems with the sign
- a photo of the sign in .jpg or .png
- your personal contact information if you want to be contacted.

Road User Handbook
If you are new to NSW, read the Road User Handbook. It covers the main rules you need to know.
The handbook is available in community languages including Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese.
Who is responsible
In NSW, Transport for NSW:
- manages state roads and regional roads, and
- issues guidelines on traffic management and road safety, including parking schemes.
Parking authorities such as local councils and declared organisations are responsible for parking control signs within their area.
