If you see someone littering from their vehicle, you can report them online to the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA).
Fines from $250 for an individual and $500 for a corporation can be issued from witnesses reports.
The EPA can act on reports of littering from vehicles registered in:
- New South Wales
- ACT
- Queensland
- Victoria.
The first time you submit a report you'll need to create an account. Have your mobile phone with you so you can receive an SMS and verify your details.
If you do not have a mobile phone or are under 18, call the EPA on 13 15 55.
Submit your report online as soon as you can, and within 14 days of witnessing the littering.
