If your business name has been cancelled because you did not renew it by the due date, you have 6 months to contact the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and ask for it to be restored.
Go to the ASIC website and ask to restore your business name using the online enquiry form.
If it has been more than 6 months since your business name was cancelled, you cannot restore it. You need to check if it's still available and register it again.
