If you have a permanent or long-term disability, EnableNSW can help you get equipment, and in some cases, attendant care to help you with daily activities.

EnableNSW can help with mobility, self care, communication and respiratory support.

Either you or your representative are welcome to apply for this scheme, and you can do so online.

  • a NSW Government Licensing (OneGov) account
  • your personal details
  • a completed Equipment Request form, which must be completed by an eligible prescriber
  • your medicare card and a photocopy of your medicare card
  • your pensioner card and a photocopy of your pensioner card (if applicable)
  • a copy of your Australian Taxation Office Assessment (if applicable).

  2. Register or sign into OneGov.
  3. Fill out the online application form.
  4. Attach the documentation as requested (if you have it in soft copy), or fax or post it to EnableNSW.

  • Aids & Equipment Program
    • Specialised Equipment Essential for Discharge (SEED) program
  • Home Respiratory Program, comprising
    • Home Oxygen Service (HOS)
    • Children’s Home Ventilation Program (CHVP)
    • Adult Home Ventilation Program (AHVP)
  • Prosthetic Limb Service
