Apply to move a grape harvester at night in the Hunter Valley

Introduction

If your registered grape harvester is over-size (up to 3.2 metres wide), you'll need to apply for a permit to move it at night and on approved routes. 

Permits are issued through service centres at Cessnock, Singleton and Muswellbrook.

How to apply

1. Gather your supporting information and documents.
2. Visit one of these service centres to submit your application:
   • Cessnock Service Centre
   • Singleton Service Centre
   • Muswellbrook Service Centre.

• This permit is for the operators of oversize grape harvesters in the Hunter Valley only. Night travel in other grape-growing regions during subsequent harvest seasons will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
• Travel of oversize grape harvesters during daylight hours requires a general permit.
