Introduction

You must renew your item of plant registration before it expires.

SafeWork NSW will email or post you your renewal notice approximately 60 days prior to the expiry date.

If you have not applied to renew before the item's registration expiry date, you'll have to apply for a new registration.

Note: If the registration holder or location address has changed, visit Notify the relocation or change of ownership of registered plant.

How to renew

  1. Select the 'Renew online' button
  2. Follow the prompts to renew your plant item registration.
  3. Attach your supporting documents (if applicable).

You'll receive a confirmation email when your renewal application is received.

More information

  • A person is competent to inspect an item of plant if they have:
  • If SafeWork NSW receives your renewal application before the registration expires, it will continue as current until you receive notice of the decision on your renewal application.
  • Items that are located at the same location and have the same owner will be aligned to the same renewal date. For further information on linking registrations at a location contact SafeWork NSW
