Introduction

If you've received a summons to attend court for jury service, the document will provide you with:

  • the address of the court
  • the date and time you need to attend.

As trials sometimes change at the last minute, you can check online if you're still required, from 4:30pm on the business day before you're due to attend court.

Note: If the trial is scheduled for a Monday, you can check after 4:30pm on the Friday.

Eligibility

  • NSW residents are randomly selected from the NSW electoral roll each year and placed on a jury roll list.
  • Certain members of the public are eligible to be excused, exempted, or excluded from jury duty.

What you need

  • your juror number (you can find this on the top right of your summons)
  • your date of birth.

How to check

  1. Select the 'Check online' button.
  2. Enter your juror number.
  3. Enter your date of birth.
  4. Select the 'Log in' button.

If you're not able to check online, call 1300 780 199.
