Make an Ad Hoc Wharf Booking (Casual basis)

Introduction

There are 2 types of Sydney Harbour wharf bookings available to commercial vessel operators – either bulk or ad hoc.

Ad hoc bookings are one-off bookings made on a casual basis. These bookings can be made and paid for online. To make these bookings you need to register to obtain login details for the online system by completing the application form and submitting it according to the instructions on the form.

What you need

• Login and password for Wharf Booking System
• Vessel name
• Survey or registration number
• Wharf name and requested time slot
• A completed Charter Wharf Booking System Application – PDF (required for initial application to obtain login details)

How to apply

1. Select the 'Book online' button. 
2. Read and confirm the terms and conditions.
3. Enter your login and password.
4. Enter your vessel details.
5. Enter requested wharf name and time slot.
6. Reserve or confirm booking.
7. Confirmation will be given when payment is made.

More information

• Online bookings, using the Wharf Booking System, are only available to commercial vessel operators, such as a ferry service. 
• Charter Wharf timeslots become available for ad-hoc booking on the Charter Wharf Booking System 4 months in advance, at all wharves except Casino wharf. The 15 minute timeslots become available in a 24 hour block at 10am every day.
