Introduction
NSW Fair Trading’s Rental Bonds Online (RBO) service helps agents, landlords and tenants pay and refund residential rental bonds.
If you're a property agent, you must be registered with RBO. You must offer the service to new tenants as the first option for lodging their rental bond.
What you need
You'll need the 'Rental Bonds Online agency registration form – PDF'.
How to register
- Select the 'Download PDF form' button.
- Complete the form and email it to the address on the form.
More information
- After NSW Fair Trading has processed your application, the principal user will be sent an email with instructions for activating your agency’s RBO account.
- The principal user can update agency details, and add or remove agency users.
