The NSW Public Works Advisory (PWA) has appointed Laing O’Rourke Australia to lead the clean-up of the eligible NSW properties that were destroyed by the bushfires.

The company is engaging qualified local contractors and local suppliers to maximise local knowledge and expertise, and assist the economic recovery of the communities.

The work involved will include the removal of:

  • known hazardous materials, including asbestos
  • materials destroyed by bushfire, and hazardous trees near the destroyed or damaged primary residence or business premises
  • concrete slab foundations.

If you've already contacted PWA or NSW Procurement's bushfire-affected communities rebuild portal, Laing O’Rourke has your details. They'll contact you if they need more information relating to clean-up work.
