Introduction
If you're registered to keep hives of honey bees in NSW, you need to renew your registration with NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) every two years.
What you need
- a username and password for the Biosecurity and food safety customer portal
- your registration number
- your renewal number (as shown on your renewal notice), or your full personal details
- your payment.
How to renew
- Log in to the DPIRD Biosecurity and Food Safety (BFS) portal.
- Complete the online application form.

You must comply with the Biosecurity Act 2015 (NSW) and other legislation.
