If you want to renew your Certifier's Accreditation, you will need to lodge a completed Application for renewal of registration form via email.


  • anyone who holds accreditation as a certifier

What you need

  • the Application to Renew Certificate of Accreditation form
  • your personal and contact details
  • copies of the front and back of your driver's licence, with both copies signed by a Justice of the Peace, or a copy of your passport and a council rates notice for example, to verify your name and address
  • your current accreditation details
  • an original Certificate of Currency or a certified copy, that provides all the information in accordance with the pro forma provided at the end of the application form
  • a Statutory Declaration relating to your current Professional Indemnity Insurance, and your compliance with the Continuing Professional Development requirements, or
  • a general declaration signed by you and a suitable witness.

How to renew

  1. Download, print and complete the Application to Renew Certificate of Accreditation – PDF
  2. Attach your supporting documentation and renewal fee, and then email your documentation to certifierregistration@customerservice.nsw.gov.au.

More information

  • lodge this form before the expiry date of your current accreditation, or your accreditation will expire and you'll need to complete an Application for Accreditation – PDF
  • sign and date each page of your application form, and
  • use the pre-prepared Statutory Declaration provided at the end of the Application Form, and have it witnessed by a Justice of the Peace, Notary Public, Commissioner of Affidavits, or Solicitor currently practising in NSW.

Even if you renew every 3 or 5 years, you must still submit evidence of professional indemnity insurance every year to Fair Trading.
