Introduction
You must notify the NSW Food Authority if your egg stamping equipment fails. Reports must be sent within 24 hours of the failure.
What you need
- your licence number
- details of the affected egg brands and licensees
- your contact details
- a summary of the investigation
- the PDF form – 'Notification of Equipment Failure – Egg Stamping'.
How to notify
- Select the 'Download PDF form' button.
- Complete the form.
- Submit your report to the NSW Food Authority.
More information
- You must maintain a copy of the report in your Food Safety Program for further assessment by a Food Safety Officer.
- A grace period from the stamping requirement will be provided for your business, in writing.
- Operations will resume on a date determined by you and the NSW Food Authority, and unstamped eggs are not to be sold beyond this date unless an extension is granted.
