If the fuel price at a service station doesn’t match the price you see on the FuelCheck online tool, you can submit a complaint with NSW Fair Trading.

You should let the service station operator know about the price mismatch before reporting it. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, or you’re not satisfied with their response, you can report it.

You'll need:

  • evidence of the price mismatch, such as a photo or receipt
  • name and address details of the service station (if submitting through the NSW Fair Trading website).
