Personal mail
When you change address you can redirect your mail to your new address. If you hold a valid concession card Australia Post offers a discounted mail redirection service.
You can choose a redirection period of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months and include up to six names on one application (for example family members or aliases).
To apply you'll need:
- your new and old address details
- your contact details
- name of each person redirecting mail
- your proof of identity documents
- your concession card (if applicable)
- your payment.
For some redirection services you can apply online. Otherwise you'll need to visit a Post Office and apply in person.

Business mail
If you’ve moved your business or home office to a new location you can redirect your mail from your old address to your new one.
You can choose a redirection period of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months and include up to six names on one application (such as your business name, your personal name, and names of other people you work with).
Depending on your type of business you can apply online or in person at a Post Office.
You must be an authorised person (such as a managing partner, company secretary, trustee or office holder) or a person acting as an agent.
