Transport Concession Entitlement Card

As an eligible asylum seeker you can apply for a Transport Concession Entitlement Card.  With this card you can get concession fares on public transport throughout NSW. 

You'll also get a Gold Opal card. This gives you unlimited travel for no more than $2.50 a day, when using public transport services across the Opal network.

Your Transport Concession Entitlement Card is proof of your entitlement. You need to carry it with you whenever you're travelling.

Renew or replace your card

You can renew online up to 30 days before your card expires. You must still meet the eligibility rules. 

If your card is lost or stolen, you can order a replacement online. 

A replacement fee may apply. Until it arrives, you must travel using an Adult Opal card or use a contactless payment, otherwise you may be fined.

If your personal or contact details change, you can update the details on your card online.
