Gold Senior/Pensioner Opal fares
You can apply for Senior or Pensioner fares, giving you unlimited travel for no more than $2.50 a day, when using public transport services across the Opal network. See Transport for NSW to find out more about your ticket choices.
You can request a physical Gold Opal card or, if you prefer, you can link your concession entitlement to your credit or debit card and use it to tap on and tap off.
You must hold a NSW or ACT Seniors Card to be eligible.
If you live outside NSW or the ACT, you may be eligible if you hold a valid seniors card issued by an Australian state or territory government.
