Introduction
The NSW Food Authority publishes lists of businesses that have breached or are alleged to have breached NSW food safety laws.
- Register of penalty notices
- Register of offences (prosecutions)
To update information on these registers, you need to apply to the NSW Food Authority.
Changes may include:
- the sale of a business after the offence
- correcting an error or omission.
Eligibility
You need to:
- be listed on the register or be someone to whom the information on the register relates, or
- own or have an interest in a business listed on the register.
What you need
- the business details
- penalty notice number (if applicable)
- details of your claim
- documentary evidence to support your claim
- your payment
Note: The application fee may be waived if:- a conviction has been cleared or an appeal has been filed
- the information on the register was incorrect, or didn't meet the publication criteria, or was not removed after the permitted publication time.
How to apply
- Read Appendix A of How to apply to change a register – PDF.
- Gather your supporting documents.
- Select the 'Apply to change a penalty notice or offence register' button.
- Follow the prompts to complete the form.
The NSW Food Authority will let you know the outcome of your application.
