Check a speed camera location

You can look up the location of fixed speed cameras and red-light speed cameras in NSW.

You can use this online tool to find the locations of speed cameras in NSW by location, road, and type of camera.

There are 3 different types:

  • fixed speed cameras and school zone fixed cameras– used at locations where there is high risk of crashes, such as tunnels
  • mobile speed cameras – moved from location to location
  • red-light speed cameras – installed at high risk intersections where there are traffic lights. These cameras also detect and record when a vehicle crosses the white stop line after the traffic lights have turned red.
