Link an existing Opal card to your Opal account

Introduction

If you want to link an existing Opal card to your Opal account, you can do this online.

What you need

• your Opal card account username and password
• Opal card number for the new card
• Opal card security code for the new card.

How to link

1. Select the ‘Manage your Opal card’ button. 
2. Log in using your username and password.
3. Select ‘Link card’ box next to the Opal card image.
4. Enter the Opal card number and security code of the card you want to link to your account.
5. Enter a nickname for your Opal card (optional).
6. Select the ‘Link card’ button.
