Renew the registration on an SP2 crane

Introduction

An SP2 crane is a truck-based or purpose-built mobile crane with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) greater than 12 tonnes and overmass on one or more axles or axle groups.

To renew the registration on your SP2 crane, you'll need to visit a Service NSW Centre.

What you need

• your proof of identity
• your business or organisation identification details
• an Authorised Crane Inspection Scheme (ACIS) inspection report
• your registration renewal notice
• your payment
• the PDF form – Replacement Application (only if you're not the first or second registered operator and do not have your renewal notice).

How to renew

1. Gather your information and documents.
2. Visit a service centre to renew your registration. 

Note: If you're not the registered operator or an authorised representative, you'll receive the registration label only (the Certificate of Registration will be posted to the first registered operator).
