Introduction

If you're registered to keep hives of honey bees in NSW, you need to update your registration details when your circumstances change. Details you can update online include your contact details, the number of hives you keep and the location of your hives.

What you need

  • a username and password for the Biosecurity and food safety customer portal
  • your registration number and the expiry date
  • your licence class
  • your new details.

How to update

  1. Log in to the DPIRD Biosecurity and Food Safety (BFS) portal.
  2. Follow the instructions to update your details.

More information

  • Update your details as soon as possible to make sure any important information, such as a renewal notices, is sent to the correct name and mailing address, and has the correct registration fee.
  • All NSW beekeepers need to adhere to the Australian Honey Bee Industry Biosecurity Code of Practice as a condition of registration. For more information, visit the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development website.
