If you cycle to commute, or for recreation or sport, you can use Transport for NSW's Cycleway Finder (an interactive online map) to work out bicycling routes in NSW.

You can use the map layer options to find out about:

  • bicycle paths and shared paths
  • quiet streets with low traffic
  • general roads where bicycles share space with motor vehicles
  • high speed roads where cycling is allowed, and
  • roads where cycling isn't allowed.

You can also search an address and, if you click on a path, a pop up box will appear with information such as surface material, length, width and suburb.
