Accessibility and translation support

If you’re deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment, you can call these numbers through the National Relay Service. Choose your access option and ask for the relevant number.

For translation and interpreter services, call 13 14 50 and ask the interpreter to phone the relevant number.

Mental health at work

For a range of tools and resources, visit SafeWork NSW’s mentally healthy workplaces program.

If you have a non-government business with fewer than 200 employees or a not-for-profit organisation of any size, you can access services including:

  • free mental health training
  • up to 4 hours of one-on-one coaching
  • a step-by-step guide to improving mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Workplace Wellbeing Assessment

Survey your staff and get recommended actions to improve the mental wellbeing of your workplace using the free Workplace Wellbeing Assessment online tool. It can help keep your workers safe and engaged, and you can track changes over time.

Tailored recommendations, information and programs that can help small business owners take action on their own mental health and wellbeing are available from Ahead for business.

NewAccess for Small Business Owners

This free, confidential mental health coaching program by Beyond Blue is designed for small business owners, including sole traders. Sessions are available via phone or video call from NewAccess for Small Business Owners.

Free, confidential and independent phone support to help you manage challenging experiences, stress, anxiety and burnout that are impacting your work and everyday life is available from Hear2Talk.

Rural Financial Counselling Service

Free, confidential and individual support to regional small businesses that are experiencing – or at risk of – financial hardship is offered by the Rural Financial Counselling Service.
