Dedicated community recovery centres provide face-to-face support for NSW residents affected by recent storms and flooding.

The NSW Government is working in partnership with local government and the Australian Government to provide impacted people with information on and access to:

  • accommodation advice
  • replacing lost documents
  • mental health and wellbeing services
  • support for businesses
  • clean-up services
  • financial assistance
  • insurance and legal support.

Hawkesbury City Council

  • Service NSW's flood recovery customer care service is now providing personalised one-on-one support for Hawkesbury-based customers. Make a booking to speak to a customer care specialist by phone or in person at the Richmond Service NSW Centre.

Kempsey Shire Council

  • Service NSW's flood recovery customer care service is now providing personalised one-on-one support for Kempsey-based customers. Make a booking to speak to a customer care specialist by phone or in person at the Kempsey Service NSW Centre.

MidCoast Council

  • Taree Recovery Centre, Old Council Chambers, 2 Pulteney St, Taree. Visit MidCoast Council Flood Recovery Hub for recovery information and outreach recovery locations, or phone MidCoast Flood Recovery Hotline on 1300 545 040.
    Open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm.

Moree Plains Shire Council

  • Service NSW's flood recovery customer care service is now providing personalised one-on-one support for Moree-based customers. Make a booking to speak to a customer care specialist by phone or in person at the Moree Service NSW Centre.

Nambucca Valley Council

  • Service NSW's flood recovery customer care service is now providing personalised one-on-one support for Nambucca Valley-based customers. Make a booking to speak to a customer care specialist by phone, or in person at the Coffs Harbour Service NSW Centre.

Penrith City Council

  • Penrith City Council is conducting outreach via rotating 'village cafes' of council staff members visiting local areas.

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council

  • Laurieton Recovery Centre, Laurieton School of Arts Hall, 58 Bold St, Laurieton. 
    Open Mondays and Wednesdays 10am to 3pm.
  • Port Macquarie Recovery Centre, 143 Gordon St, Port Macquarie. Visit Port Macquarie-Hastings Council for local information, including mobile outreach centres. 
    Open Thursdays and Fridays 10am to 3pm.
