Service NSW is collecting this information for the purpose of verifying your identity and enabling you to link your MyServiceNSW Account to Transport for NSW (the NSW Government agency that manages NSW Boat Driving Licences and vessel registrations).
This will allow you to access:

your licence and/or vessel registration details within your account when you log in on the Service NSW website

a digital version of your licence and vessel registrations on the Service NSW mobile app.
To link your account with Transport for NSW, we will verify your identity document details against your Transport for NSW customer information.

Service NSW will not disclose your personal information to anyone else unless you provide your consent, or we are required or authorised to do so by law.
