Service NSW is collecting this information for the purpose of verifying your identity and enabling you to link your MyServiceNSW Account to Department of Primary Industries (the NSW Government agency that manages NSW Recreational Fishing Licences).
This will allow you to access:

your licence details within your account when you log in on the Service NSW website

a digital version of your licence on the Service NSW mobile app.
To link your account with Department of Primary Industries, we will verify your identity document details against your Department of Primary Industries customer information.
Service NSW will not disclose your personal information to anyone else unless you provide your consent, or we are required or authorised to do so by law.
