Apply for a Temporary Excess Provision of Services (TEPS) permit

Introduction

A security master licence authorises the holder to provide a specific number of people to carry out security activities.

If you need to supply more security operators than you're licensed for, you can apply for a Temporary Excess Provision of Services (TEPS) permit for a specified time period.

You need to submit your application at least 24 hours before providing additional security people.

You can apply online for a TEPS permit.

Eligibility

You must hold a current master licence.

What you need

• a OneGov account or MyServiceNSW Account (if you don't have an account you can create a MyServiceNSW Account when you start)
• your licence number
• permit start and end dates
• your payment. 

How to apply

1. Select the 'Apply online' button.
2. Follow the prompts to complete your application.

If you cannot apply online:

1. Download and complete the Application for temporary excess provision of services request form – PDF
   Note: You can only make payment by Mastercard or Visa.
2. Send the form by email or post to the address noted on the form.
