Change the details on a property certificate or licence

Introduction

If you hold a property certificate of registration or licence and your details have changed, you must notify NSW Fair Trading as follows:

• Individual licence or certificate of registration holders must notify change of name or contact details within 14 days
• Corporation licence holders must notify:
  • change of name, contact details, or director details within 14 days
  • changes to the licensee-in-charge within 5 business days.

What you need

• depending on the details you need to change, any of the following PDF forms:
  • Change of Details
  • Change of Director
  • Notification of Licensee in Charge Details.
• evidence of the changed details, as stated on the form.

How to change

1. Download and complete the relevant form.
2. Gather the required supporting documents.
3. Submit your notification at a Service NSW Centre or by email to the details on the form.
