Check a retailer identification number (RIN)

Businesses that sell e-cigarettes, tobacco or non-tobacco smoking products must comply with the retailer notification scheme and have a valid retailer identification number (RIN).

The RIN register is for members of the public to access publicly available information given by businesses to the NSW Ministry of Health when they register for a RIN. 

You can look up a RIN online. You will need one of the following:

• ABN/ACN
• the RIN
• the name of the organisation.
