If you'd like to book a free emissions test on your vehicle, or you've already booked a test and would like to change or cancel it, then call us on 13 77 88. You'll need to provide your vehicle details (plate number or VIN).
The emissions testing station is located at the Botany RMS Heavy Vehicle Inspection Site.
Note: IM240 emissions testing for vehicles with modified engines is currently unavailable at the Botany RMS Heavy Vehicle Inspection Site. We're working to resolve this issue and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
From 6 April 2022, there is a 6-month exemption for the emissions testing requirement for modified or individually constructed vehicles. The exemption period will allow Transport for NSW to consider an alternate compliance pathway. Vehicles certified under the exemption may be directed by Transport for NSW to be tested using any developed alternative compliance pathway after the expiry of the exemption.
