Renew a motor vehicle recycler licence

Introduction

You'll receive a renewal notice for your motor vehicle recycler licence a month before the expiry date. You can then apply online to renew your licence before it expires. 

You can apply for a 1, 3 or 5-year licence.

What you need

• your licence number
• your renewal number (as shown on your renewal notice), or your full personal details
• your fee payment.

How to renew

1. Select the 'Renew online' button.
2. Follow the prompts to renew your licence.

If you miss the renewal deadline

• If you did not renew on time but the licence is within 3 months from its expiry date, you may be able to make an application to restore it. This can be done at a Service NSW Centre.
• If your licence has expired more than 3 months, you'll need to apply for a new licence to be re-issued.
• You cannot trade until your new licence is issued.
