Introduction

You can dispute a decision we have made about your application if you believe Service NSW:

  • has made an error in their decision
  • incorrectly applied guidelines or terms and conditions
  • did not afford you procedural fairness
  • reached the wrong outcome.

You will need to make a request within 28 calendar days from when you receive the decision made by Service NSW.

Your request will be considered by the Disputes team. This team is separate from and independent of the team that made the original decision on your application.

As part of the Internal Review process you will have an opportunity to give us further information you would like considered.
