Divorce orders and certificates
The process to request a divorce order depends on when and where your divorce was granted and finalised.
The forms you need to request divorce orders are available on the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia website – Proof of divorce.
- Divorce granted after 13 February 2010: order online – free service.
- Divorce granted before 13 February 2010: order online – there is a fee for this service.
- Divorce orders for someone else: order online – there is a fee for this service.
- Before 1976: contact the Supreme Court in the state or territory where the divorce was granted.
- In Western Australia – contact the Family Court of Western Australia.

Proof that you were not divorced
If you need to confirm that you were not divorced at a certain date complete the online form to request proof of non-divorce.
To complete the form you will need the date of the marriage.
