Update organ donation details

Introduction

If you want to update your details on the Australian Organ Donor Register, or change or remove your decision to donate your organs and tissue, you can do this online.

What you need

• a myGov account linked to Medicare
• your personal details.

How to update

1. Select the ‘Go to myGov’ button and log in to your myGov account.
2. Select Medicare from your ‘Linked services’.
3. Follow the on screen prompts to update or change your personal details.
4. Save your preferences.

If you’re unable to update your donation details through myGov, you can:

• use the Express Plus Medicare mobile app, or
• complete Australian Organ Donor Register – PDF and follow the instructions on the form.

You cannot update your organ and tissue donation decision through your NSW Driver Licence.
