January to March 2023

Storms and floods support

Financial assistance may be available if you have been impacted by the March 2023 storms and floods (AGRN 1057) or the February 2023 storms and floods (AGRN 1049 and AGRN 1047)

Up to $130,000 in concessional loans for eligible small businesses.

Up to $130,000 in concessional loans for eligible primary producers.

Up to $15,000 for primary producers who are affected by a declared natural disaster event.

Up to $25,000 in concessional loans for eligible non-profit organisations.

Bushfires support

Financial assistance may be available if you have been impacted by the bushfires in January, February and March 2023 (AGRN 1056, 1055, 1054, 1053, 1052).

Up to $130,000 in concessional loans for eligible small businesses.

Up to $130,000 in concessional loans for eligible primary producers.

Up to $15,000 for primary producers who are affected by a declared natural disaster event.

Up to $25,000 in concessional loans for eligible non-profit organisations.

2022 flood events

August and September

Financial assistance may be available if you have been impacted by the August 2022 storms and floods (AGRN 1030) or the September 2022 storms and floods (AGRN 1034)

Up to $50,000 for eligible small businesses and not-for-profit organisations directly impacted by August and September 2022 floods.

Up to $200,000 for medium businesses and not-for-profit organisations, to help pay for costs of clean-up and reinstatement of operations.

Up to $130,000 in concessional loans for eligible primary producers.

Up to $15,000 for primary producers who are affected by a declared natural disaster event.

Up to $25,000 in concessional loans for eligible non-profit organisations.

Funding assistance to organisations that donate and transport donated fodder, in the event of a natural disaster.

Up to $200,000 for eligible non-government organisations in declared disaster areas in Western, Murrumbidgee, Far West and New England affected by floods and/or that serve flood-affected communities.

June and July

Financial assistance may be available if you've been impacted by the June and July 2022 storms and floods (AGRN 1025).

Up to $50,000 for eligible small businesses and not-for-profit organisations directly impacted by June and July 2022 floods.

Up to $130,000 in concessional loans for eligible primary producers.

Up to $130,000 in concessional loans for eligible small businesses.

Up to $25,000 in concessional loans for eligible non-profit organisations.

Up to $25,000 for primary producers who are affected by a declared natural disaster event.

Funding assistance to organisations that donate and transport donated fodder, in the event of a natural disaster.

February and March

Financial assistance may be available if you've been impacted by the February and March 2022 storms and floods (AGRN 1012 and 1014).

Up to $50,000 for eligible commercial property owners directly impacted by February and March 2022 floods in highly impacted Northern Rivers LGAs.

Up to $50,000 for eligible small businesses and not-for-profit organisations, to help pay for costs of clean-up and reinstatement of operations.

Up to $200,000 for medium businesses and not-for-profit organisations in highly impacted Northern Rivers LGAs, to help pay for costs of clean-up and reinstatement of operations.

Up to $100,000 for eligible primary producers and production enterprises impacted by storms and floods in declared LGAs. 

Up to $130,000 in concessional loans for eligible primary producers.

Up to $130,000 in concessional loans for eligible small businesses.

Up to $25,000 in concessional loans for eligible non-profit organisations.

Up to $25,000 for primary producers who are affected by a declared natural disaster event.

Funding assistance to organisations that donate and transport donated fodder, in the event of a natural disaster.
 

2021 flood events

Up to $50,000 to help pay for costs of clean-up and reinstatement of operations if your business was directly impacted by storms and floods from October 2021 to January 2022.

Other support

Up to $2 million loan for primary producers who mainly sell, or plan to sell, products in supply chains that are interstate or outside Australia.

Up to $1,000 rebate for small business owners, sole traders, charities and not-for-profit organisations on the cost of equipment that makes your workplace safer. 

The Australian Banking Association has information for business owners who experience financial difficulty as a result storms and floods. Customers can contact their financial institutions to discuss available options.
