Introduction
Eligible personal toll account holders who spend more than $60 a week on tolls can claim a rebate:
- for toll spend between $60 and $400 a week per tag and/or licence plate number on their personal toll account
- for personal toll trips in an eligible vehicle registered for private use
- up to $340 a week for each tag and licence plate number on your personal toll account.
When you can claim
| Toll spend period | 3-month claim period opens |
|---|---|
| 5 January 2026 to 5 April 2026 | 9 April 2026 |
| 6 April 2026 to 5 July 2026 | 9 July 2026 |
Note: For previous dates see expired claim periods.
How it works
- The amount you are eligible to claim is calculated for you when you link your personal toll account to your MyServiceNSW Account.
- You must claim the rebate during the 3-month claim period.
- Toll relief is based on weekly toll spend.
- The minimum spend to claim the toll is $60 a week for each tag and licence plate number on your personal toll account (see the toll spend claim examples).
- Eligibility is assessed each week from Monday to Sunday.
- The rebate is calculated and claimed every 3 months (quarterly).
- The 3-month claim period includes full weeks from Monday to Sunday.
- Any rebates you have not claimed in the 3-month claim period will roll over to the next time you make a claim until the annual claim period closes on:
- 30 June 2026 for the 2025 toll spend period
- 1 December 2026 for the 2026 toll spend period ending 5 July 2026.
Eligibility
To claim, you must be a NSW resident aged 16 or over.
Your personal trips on an eligible NSW toll road must be for a vehicle that is:
- a motorcycle or car that meets the Class A vehicle definition (also known as Class 2)

Your toll spend must:
- be more than $60 a week (Monday to Sunday) on tolls for each tag and/or licence plate number on your personal toll account
- charged to an active NSW personal toll account with E-Toll or Linkt (not suspended or closed)
- not already be claimed and paid as a rebate in the 3-month period for the claim you are making.
Toll spend that is eligible
- Tolls paid on all toll roads in NSW count towards your spend (except M5 South-West, if you claim under the M5 South-West Cashback Scheme).
- Tolls for other future toll roads will be included when the roads open.

You cannot claim for tolls paid:
- before 1 January 2024
