Introduction

Eligible personal toll account holders who spend more than $60 a week on tolls can claim a rebate:

  • for toll spend between $60 and $400 a week per tag and/or licence plate number on their personal toll account
  • for personal toll trips in an eligible vehicle registered for private use
  • up to $340 a week for each tag and licence plate number on your personal toll account.

When you can claim

Toll spend period3-month claim period opens
5 January 2026 to 5 April 20269 April 2026
6 April 2026 to 5 July 20269 July 2026

Note: For previous dates see expired claim periods.

How it works

  • The amount you are eligible to claim is calculated for you when you link your personal toll account to your MyServiceNSW Account.
  • You must claim the rebate during the 3-month claim period.
  • Toll relief is based on weekly toll spend.
  • The minimum spend to claim the toll is $60 a week for each tag and licence plate number on your personal toll account (see the toll spend claim examples).
  • Eligibility is assessed each week from Monday to Sunday.
  • The rebate is calculated and claimed every 3 months (quarterly).
  • The 3-month claim period includes full weeks from Monday to Sunday.
  • Any rebates you have not claimed in the 3-month claim period will roll over to the next time you make a claim until the annual claim period closes on:
    • 30 June 2026 for the 2025 toll spend period
    • 1 December 2026 for the 2026 toll spend period ending 5 July 2026.
