Apply for an additional trader's plate

Introduction

If you already hold a trader's plate and need another one, you can apply for an additional plate at a Service NSW Centre.

What you need

• your proof of identity
• your motor industry licence
• your business or organisation identification
• a detailed letter on company letterhead describing your business and the reasons why you need an additional plate
• a list of all the trader's plates you currently hold
• Record of Use sheets for the last 3 months for all trader's plates currently held
• your payment
• the PDF form – 'Trader's Plate Application'.

How to apply

1. Select the 'Download PDF form' button.
2. Complete the form.
3. Gather all the required documentation.
4. Visit a service centre and submit your application.
