Introduction

The streamlined transfer process is ideal for businesses that operate many liquor licences, and move staff from one location to another.

Eligibility

If you’re 18 years or older and:

  • the business owner is not changing, and
  • the incoming licensee is a person, not a business, who:
    • has held the same type of licence over the previous 3 years
    • hasn’t committed a prescribed offence
    • hasn’t been disqualified during that 3-year period, and
    • hasn’t had their licence suspended or cancelled.

How to apply

  1. Select the ‘Apply online’ button.
  2. Enter your name and licence details.
  3. Select 'transfer liquor licence'.
  4. Log in with your MyServiceNSW Account or create an account.
  5. Follow the prompts to give notice of a liquor licence transfer.
  6. Attach supporting documents.
  7. Submit your application with payment
