Introduction
If you want to register a used vehicle that has been imported into Australia under the registered automotive workshop scheme (RAWS), you'll need to visit a Service NSW Centre.
What you need
- your proof of identity
- proof of registration entitlement
- your proof of concession (if applicable)
- compulsory third party (CTP) insurance receipt (green slip) with the number plate section left blank (except for trailers)
- an Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Scheme (AUVIS) report (blue slip)
- a Vehicle Compliance Certificate from a licensed certifier if the vehicle has been modified
- your fee payment
- the PDF form – 'Application for Registration'.
How to apply
- Select the 'Download PDF form' button.
- Gather the required documents.
- Take the completed form and required documents to a service centre and lodge your application.
