Introduction
If you want to cancel your commercial mooring licence, you can do so at a Service NSW Centre or by post or email.
You may be required to remove the mooring apparatus from the seabed and you're responsible for any costs associated with the removal.

What you need
- a written request to cancel the commercial mooring licence on the organisation's letterhead
- proof of identity
- your commercial mooring licence
- the PDF form – Request for Refund – Maritime (if applicable)
- a letter of authority on organisation letterhead and signed by a director/secretary/president/chairperson of the organisation, authorising you to act on the organisation's behalf.
How to cancel
- Gather all the required documents.
- Submit your application in person at a service centre, or by post or email, using the details on the form.
