Introduction

If you hold a property certificate of registration and it has been damaged, lost or stolen, you can apply for a free replacement certificate at a Service NSW Centre or by email.

You can seek a replacement licence by email or at a Service NSW service centre.

What you need

You'll need your property certificate details. You can check your details at Verify NSW.

How to request a replacement certificate

You'll need to submit a request in writing.

In your request, please include:

  • reason for requesting a replacement
  • the type of certificate (property certificate of registration)
  • your name
  • licence number
  • your signature.
