Replace a property certificate of registration

Introduction

If you hold a property certificate of registration and it has been damaged, lost or stolen, you can apply for a free replacement certificate at a Service NSW Centre or by email.

What you need

You'll need your property certificate details. You can check your details at Verify NSW.

How to request a replacement certificate

You'll need to submit a request in writing.

In your request, please include:

• the reason for requesting a replacement
• the type of certificate (property certificate of registration)
• your name
• licence number
• your signature.

Submit your written request:

• by email propertylicensing@customerservice.nsw.gov.au, or
• by calling NSW Fair Trading on 13 32 20, or
• in person at a service centre.
