If you’re temporarily interstate or overseas and your NSW driver licence card has been lost, stolen or destroyed, you can order a replacement licence online.

If you're unable to replace online or require the licence to be sent outside NSW, you'll need to complete a photo-kit form, and post it to the Photo Kit Unit.

Eligibility

You can use a photo-kit form only if your licence:

  • has been expired fewer than 5 years
  • is not a temporary paper licence
  • is not suspended or cancelled.

To make sure you have all the information and documentation you need to complete this transaction, visit Driver and rider licences.

  3. Ensure you have a witness to complete page 5 if:
    • you can’t return your current NSW driver licence or one that expired within the last 2 years, or
