Surrender a company or partnership contractor licence

Introduction

If you hold a company or partnership contractor licence and the business is retiring, dissolving or changing, the licence will need to be cancelled and returned to Fair Trading. This can be done at a Service NSW Centre.

You may be entitled to a partial refund for the unexpired portion of the fee you paid for the licence.

What you need

• your licence card and licence number
• the PDF form – 'Surrender of Licence/Certificate'

How to surrender

1. Select the 'Download PDF form' button.
2. Print and complete the form.
3. Visit a service centre with your licence card and submit the documentation in person.
