Surrender a company or partnership contractor licence

Introduction

If you hold a company or partnership contractor licence and the business is retiring, dissolving or changing, the licence will need to be cancelled and returned to Fair Trading. This can be done at a Service NSW Centre.

You may be entitled to a partial refund for the unexpired portion of the fee you paid for the licence.

How to surrender your licence

1. Check your company or partnership contractor licence number and details at Verify NSW.
2. Select the 'Download PDF form' button.
3. Complete the Application form – Surrender of licence/certificate – PDF.
4. Take your completed application form and licence card to a Service NSW Centre.
